Get ready for an action-packed basketball season with the Newtown Youth Basketball Association's Junior Rec League! We offer six fantastic divisions for boys and girls in 3rd to 8th grade, ensuring a perfect fit for every young athlete.

• Boys & Girls 3rd/4th Grade
• Boys & Girls 5th/6th Grade
• Boys & Girls 7th/8th Grade

🏃‍♂️ Team Structure: Each team consists of 10 enthusiastic players, providing ample opportunities for everyone to shine on the court.  Play time is equal for all players

📅 Schedule:

• Late October: Player evaluations (mandatory for all participants)
• November: Weekly one-hour practices begin
• After Thanksgiving: Let the games begin! (Saturdays)

🏆 Playoffs & All-Star Games: While our 3rd/4th grade leagues focus on fun and skill development, our 5th/6th and 7th/8th grade leagues amp up the excitement with playoffs, championship games, and all-star games!
